Beyoncé says that she wants to teach her kids, both boy and girl, that they can achieve anything they want. Additionally, she says that the society shouldn't stop her/him from pursuing their goals, including gender stereotypes. Beyoncé wants to teach her son that “the notion that being masculine can’t be synonymous with expressing emotions or being nurturing”. She wants to teach her daughter to “know that they can write the script for their own lives ― that they can speak their minds and they have no ceiling”. Lastly, Beyoncé wants to teach all her children that they can aspire to be whatever they want, while at the same time being true to theirselves, honest, and authentic.
